This section enables you to set up your equipment or troubleshoot common issues with your equipment or services immediately.

Internet Connectivity Help

If you are experiencing data connectivity issues, please verify the following:

  1. Check that one end of the ethernet cable is plugged into LAN 1 on the gateway box on the wall and the other end is connected to your computer. For details, see Connect Your Gateway.
  2. Check to see if there are lights on the gateway box. Sometimes the power adapter becomes unplugged from the wall.

Once you have verified that everything is plugged in correctly and you are still not able to connect, please contact us or submit a ticket online.

Telephone Help

If you are interested in activating telephone service in your room, please visit University Housing Services to complete a Telephone Activation & Cancellation Form (pdf). There is a one time installation fee of $20 plus a fee of $9.95 per month.
